hello again.
Guy, you mentioned in a previous post something about an experience ranking?
something like a team's 2-deep score based on the number of sr/jr/so/rfr/tfr at each position?
can i sneek a peak at this?
and how far back to you have this data?
im trying to get a bridge from one season to the next based on personelle losses/additions.

Yes not a problem.
Here is a file...

Let me know your Questions.

In Column G (PR) This the players Power Rating out of HS. (In some cases I manually adjust for the obvious)
Column H (YR) This is for the YR. Sr=4, Jr=3,So=2,RSF=1,TF=0
Column K and L this is the final rating for the player. I have two different systems. For your purpose just keep it with Column K this is the newer/better version.

If you notice the first team and player listed in Florida and the #1 and #2 QB.
I gave Tebow a #1 rating and gave him an extra year ยป4 (Sr.) Regardless of what he was in HS this is his rating now based on what we have seen.
Does this mean he is a great player and NFL surething. NO not at all. But for his team and in his system etc..etc..etc.. There is not a better QB for this.

I can shoot holes in many players rating's. However, I can't shoot many holes in a teams rating.

At each teams bottom you will see a summary of these numbers adding up.
This is the team combined Player Rating.

Before the bowls start I will be doing an article on the home page about these numbers and the bowls and more importantly, how to use them.

This week I am hoping to get an article up on my coaching rating's. The coaching Rating's go hand in hand with these talent figures.
Based on these figures I have a Theoretical score that is projected. Basically two even teams should play to a 26-26 tie. Based on that adjust certain things and can pinpoint which coaches are getting more out of the talent they have or in some cases (Notre Dame) get less.

Here is the list of the Bottom 25 Coaches.

*** Notice how many are 1st year coaches, Fired or getting fired or resigned ***
The lower the number the worse the coaches rating...

1.0 rating means a coach is parr for his talent levels.

Just for this thread I did a quick analysis on the Talent Ratings and actual results.
In games where someone had a 500 point edge they were 99-30.

Remember the lower the number the better the advantage.
I have this excel file sorted and filtered.
I also have some formulas in there.

Those two comments are related and you don't know it.
I go through each team and do it by hand. Those blanks are just ones that were not entered at the time I posted. I was doing it from a busness trip and had a old copy of the file.

The non-BCS schools are not as accurate.

I just noticed the post in the forum.
Which update you looking for the total boxscores? Big file?

Over in the Football forum I posted my point spread plays.

The big file will be up shortly.

Here is my match up form.

The most important aspect of this file in the Talent #2 Mar (Margin) A solid negative number advantage helps.

The whole big sheet would be great of you've got it handy.
